Organization: Unity Project for Relief of Homelessness in London - Emergency Shelter
Description of Services: Emergency shelter and transitional housing environment * secular and home-like
  • 17 crash beds for nightly stays (sign in 7 pm, first come first serve)
  • 20 shelter residence beds for up to 30 days
  • 10 transitional housing spaces for longer term stays up to a year (paying rent)
  • Frontline Support Workers provide housing assessment and supports for people staying longer than 14 days
  • Housing Stability Workers provide in-home supports for episodic and chronically homeless individuals
  • life skills programming - shelter residents take personal accountability for cooking, cleaning, and day-to-day maintenance
  • grief counselling
  • food and clothing
  • drop-in services focused on immediate crisis intervention and housing supports
